Smith & Wesson has always been one of my favorite manufactures of firearms. My very first handgun was the tried and true S&W Model 10 38spl. This Model of Smith & Wesson firearm is a six-shot, 38spl, double-action revolver with fixed sights. The Model 10 is a revolver of great popularity. Barrels came in all different lengths with the most common being 4". The Smith Model 10 is fun to shoot, dependable and easy to work on. They typically range in price from $250-$695. The Springfield Model 1816 had borrowed heavily from the design of the French Charleville and was an improvement from the 1812 Flintlock Musket. This design was retained for the Model 1816.
